The founders of the art movement De Stijl include,
but are not limited to, painter Theo van Doesburg, sculptor Georges
Vantongerloo, architect JJP Oud, designer Gerrit Rietveld, and painter Piet
Mondrian. In 1917, the cooperation of all of these artists resulted in the
founding of De Stijl.
